Synopsis/Plot
The Lincoln Lawyer is an American legal thriller film released in 2011, starring Matthew McConaughey as Mick Haller, a Los Angeles criminal defense attorney who operates out of the back of his Lincoln Town Car. The film follows Haller as he is hired by a wealthy real estate developer to defend his son in a case involving a violent assault. As Haller investigates the case, he discovers that his client is hiding a much darker secret that could put both their lives in danger.
The film is directed by Brad Furman and written by John Romano, based on the novel of the same name by Michael Connelly. The cast also includes Marisa Tomei, Ryan Phillippe, William H. Macy, Josh Lucas, and Bryan Cranston.
