Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Liability”
The Liability is a British thriller released in 2012. It follows Adam, a 19-year-old drifter, who is hired by Roy, a middle-aged hitman, to be his apprentice. As the two of them go on a series of assassination jobs, Adam quickly discovers that Roy is a dangerous and unpredictable man who will stop at nothing to get the job done.
The movie begins with Adam being approached by Roy at a bar and offered a job. After some hesitation, Adam agrees and they set off on their first mission. Adam soon discovers that Roy is a cold-blooded killer and that he has no qualms about killing innocent people. Adam is horrified by Roy’s methods but is also drawn to the excitement and money that come with the job.
As the two continue on their mission, they are pursued by a mysterious figure who seems to know more about Roy than he is willing to let on. Meanwhile, Adam is forced to confront his own inner darkness as he is pulled deeper into Roy’s world.
The movie culminates in a tense, action-packed climax as Adam and Roy face off against their pursuers. In the end, Adam is forced to make a difficult choice between his own morality and Roy’s twisted sense of justice.
