Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Last Dragon”
The Last Dragon is a 1985 martial arts musical fantasy film starring Taimak, Vanity, Julius J. Carry III, and Christopher Murney. It follows the story of Leroy Green, a young martial artist living in New York City who dreams of becoming a great martial artist like his idol Bruce Lee.
Leroy’s quest for greatness leads him to seek out the legendary Master Sum Dum Goy, the only person who can teach him the secret of the mysterious “The Last Dragon”. Along the way, he meets a beautiful singer named Laura Charles, who helps him on his journey.
Meanwhile, the evil Sho’nuff, the Shogun of Harlem, is determined to become the greatest martial artist in the world and will stop at nothing to achieve his goal. With his gang of thugs, he terrorizes the city and challenges Leroy to a fight to the death.
When Leroy finally meets Master Sum Dum Goy, he is taught the secret of the Last Dragon, the power of the glow. With the help of Laura and the glow, Leroy is able to defeat Sho’nuff and become the greatest martial artist in the city.
