Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Last Avatar”
The Last Avatar is a 2014 action-adventure fantasy movie directed by Peter Jackson. The movie follows the journey of Jake Sully (Sam Worthington), a disabled Marine who is sent to the distant planet of Pandora to take the place of his deceased twin brother.
On Pandora, Jake discovers a primitive but advanced civilization of the Na’vi, a humanoid race with blue skin. He soon finds himself torn between two worlds, as he is recruited by the human military to infiltrate the Na’vi and gain access to a powerful energy source known as Unobtanium.
At first, Jake is determined to complete his mission, but as he gets to know the Na’vi and their culture, he begins to sympathize with them and their struggle against the humans. He is caught between his loyalty to the military and the growing connection he feels with the Na’vi people.
As the conflict between the two sides intensifies, Jake must make a difficult decision: will he follow his orders and help the humans in their mission to exploit Pandora, or will he join forces with the Na’vi and help them protect their home?
