Synopsis/Plot

The Land Before Time IX: Journey to Big Water is a 2002 traditionally-animated adventure film and the ninth installment in the Land Before Time series. The film follows Littlefoot, Cera, Ducky, Petrie, Spike, and their friend, Mo, as they venture to Big Water, a mysterious place beyond the Great Valley.

When Mo’s family of Swimming Sharpteeth arrive in the Great Valley, Mo is eager to join them on their journey to Big Water. Littlefoot and his friends decide to accompany Mo, and they set off on an exciting journey full of danger and discovery. Along the way, they must brave the harsh elements, avoid predators, and find a way to cross the Great Valley’s mysterious Big Water.

The journey is full of surprises, as the gang meets new friends, including a playful water-dwelling creature called a Bigmouth, and a group of playful Swimming Sharpteeth. With the help of their new friends, they must find a way to cross the treacherous Big Water and reach their destination.
