Synopsis – What to Expect from “The King of the Kickboxers”
The King of the Kickboxers is a 1990 martial arts action film starring Loren Avedon as David Sloan. The film follows David, a kickboxing champion who is forced to travel to Thailand to compete in a deadly martial arts tournament.
The tournament is organized by a ruthless and powerful crime lord, Tong Po (Billy Blanks), who has a personal vendetta against David. Along the way, David meets a young Thai woman, Mai (Cynthia Rothrock), who helps him train and prepares him for the tournament.
At the tournament, David faces off against numerous opponents, including Tong Po’s henchmen. Despite being outnumbered and outmatched, David manages to defeat each of them. Eventually, he faces off against Tong Po himself.
The final fight is an intense and bloody battle, with both fighters giving it their all. In the end, David emerges victorious and is crowned the King of the Kickboxers.
The film ends with David and Mai celebrating his victory and the two of them riding off into the sunset.
