Synopsis/Plot
The Informer is a 2019 crime drama directed by Andrea Di Stefano and starring Joel Kinnaman, Rosamund Pike, and Clive Owen. Set in London, the film follows Pete Koslow (Kinnaman), a former U.S. Special Forces soldier who is now an informant for the FBI. In order to protect his pregnant wife (Pike) and their unborn child, Pete is forced to take part in a dangerous mission that could cost him everything.
Pete is tasked with infiltrating the Polish mafia and gathering evidence against the gang’s leader, a ruthless drug lord known as “The General” (Owen). With the help of his FBI handler, Wilcox (Common), Pete must navigate the seedy underworld of organized crime in order to bring The General to justice. However, things quickly spiral out of control as Pete finds himself in a dangerous game of cat and mouse with the mob and the authorities.
