Synopsis/Plot
The Highwaymen is a 2019 American crime drama film directed by John Lee Hancock and written by John Fusco. The film stars Kevin Costner and Woody Harrelson as former Texas Rangers Frank Hamer and Maney Gault, who are commissioned to track down and bring to justice legendary outlaws Bonnie and Clyde.
The film follows the two retired lawmen as they set out on a mission to hunt down the notorious bank robbers and murderers, Bonnie and Clyde. The pair are determined to bring the criminals to justice, despite the fact that the authorities have deemed them too old and out of touch for the job. Along the way, the two men must contend with an ever-changing landscape of 1930s rural America, as well as a determined group of law enforcement officers who are determined to capture Bonnie and Clyde themselves.
