Synopsis/Plot

The Fox and the Hound 2 is a 2006 American animated direct-to-video film produced by DisneyToon Studios. It is the sequel to the 1981 Disney animated feature film The Fox and the Hound. The film follows the further adventures of Tod and Copper, two unlikely friends whose friendship transcends the boundaries of their respective species.

The film begins with an adult Tod and Copper playing together in the woods. Their fun is interrupted by the arrival of Amos Slade, who is determined to capture Tod. Tod escapes and meets up with a female fox named Vixey, who he is instantly smitten with. Meanwhile, Copper has been living with Amos and is being trained to hunt.

Tod andVixey soon convince Tod to return to the farm and reclaim his home from Amos. When Amos discovers Tod, he sets out to hunt him down. Copper, feeling torn between loyalty to his owner and his friendship with Tod, decides to help Tod escape. With the help of several woodland creatures, Tod and Copper are able to evade Amos and his dogs.

In the end, Amos decides to leave the area for good, allowing Tod and Copper to remain friends. The film ends with Tod and Copper playing in the meadow, watched over by Vixey.
