Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Flock”
The Flock is a 2007-08-04 released thriller about a group of people living in a small town in the middle of nowhere. The town is home to a highly secretive government agency that is in charge of protecting the citizens from a deadly virus that is rapidly spreading across the United States.
The main protagonist of the movie is Agent Errol Babbage (Richard Gere), a seasoned agent of the agency. He is assigned to investigate the mysterious disappearances of several young women in the town. As he delves deeper into the case, he discovers that the virus is actually a highly contagious, mutating strain of flu that has been engineered by a shadowy group of scientists.
Agent Babbage soon discovers that the virus is being spread by a group of people known as “The Flock”, a cult-like group of people who are immune to the virus and believe that they are chosen to spread it. As Agent Babbage investigates further, he discovers that the Flock’s leader, a mysterious figure known only as “The Shepherd”, is using the virus to gain control over the town and its citizens.
