Synopsis/Plot
The Flash is a superhero action-adventure film based on the DC Comics character of the same name. The movie follows Barry Allen, a police scientist with superhuman speed, as he discovers he has the power of the Flash and must use it to protect Central City from a variety of villains.
The movie begins with Barry Allen, a police forensic scientist, being struck by a lightning bolt during a freak laboratory accident. He wakes up to find himself endowed with superhuman speed and the ability to move at incredible speeds. After discovering his new powers, Barry begins to use them to help the police fight crime in Central City.
Soon, Barry learns that he is not the only one with superhuman powers and that he must use his newfound abilitiesto protect Central City from a variety of villains. He discovers a secret organization, known as the Speed Force, which is dedicated to protecting the city from dangerous metahumans. With the help of his mentor, Harrison Wells, Barry begins to use his powers to protect the city from the forces of evil.
Barry soon discovers that his nemesis, the Reverse-Flash, is responsible for the accident that gave him his powers and is determined to destroy Central City. Barry must use his newfound abilities to stop the Reverse-Flash and save Central City. Along the way, he must also battle a variety of villains and learn to control his powers. In the end, Barry must make the ultimate sacrifice to save the city and become the hero Central City needs.
