Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Ex”
The Ex is a 2006 comedy-drama about an ambitious young man named Tom Reilly (Zach Braff) who moves to New York City to work at an advertising agency. He quickly finds himself in over his head when he starts to fall for his new boss, Amanda (Amanda Peet). But when Tom’s ex-girlfriend, Sofia (Amanda Bynes), shows up in town, Tom is forced to choose between his current relationship and his past.
