Synopsis/Plot
The Dukes of Hazzard is a 2005 American action comedy film based on the television series of the same name. The film follows cousins Bo and Luke Duke, who are Southern cousins living on a farm in fictional Hazzard County, Georgia. They are constantly involved in various schemes and escapades, often involving their car, the “General Lee,” a customized 1969 Dodge Charger.
The Duke boys are constantly at odds with their corrupt local government, especially Boss Hogg, the corrupt county commissioner. When Boss Hogg orders the eviction of their Uncle Jesse from the farm, the Dukes must help him fight back against the corrupt local government and save the farm.
The film stars Seann William Scott, Johnny Knoxville, Jessica Simpson, Burt Reynolds, Willie Nelson, and Lynda Carter. It was directed by Jay Chandrasekhar and produced by Bill Gerber, Andrew Lazar, and Michael Ewing.
