Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Dentist”
The Dentist is a horror-comedy film released in 1996 and starring Corbin Bernsen, Linda Hoffman, and Michael Stadvec.
The film follows Dr. Alan Feinstone (Corbin Bernsen), a successful dentist who seemingly has it all – a beautiful wife, a thriving practice, and a luxurious lifestyle. But beneath the surface, Alan suffers from a deep-seated obsession with perfection and cleanliness. His obsession is so extreme that he begins to develop a dark and violent side, and his patients start to feel the effects.
When Alan meets a mysterious patient (Linda Hoffman) who claims to have a toothache, his obsession takes a sinister turn. The patient reveals that she is in fact a demon who has come to take revenge on Alan for his past misdeeds. As Alan’s world begins to unravel, he begins to realize that his past actions have come back to haunt him in the form of this demonic patient.
The Dentist is a thrilling horror-comedy that follows Alan’s descent into madness as he struggles to keep his sanity and his practice afloat. With the help of his assistant (Michael Stadvec), Alan must confront his inner demons and find a way to save himself from the clutches of the demonic patient before it’s too late.
