Synopsis/Plot
The Death of the Incredible Hulk is a made-for-television movie released in 1990. It is the sequel to the 1988 television movie The Incredible Hulk Returns.
The movie opens with Bruce Banner (Bill Bixby) on the run from the government, who are still trying to capture him and use the Hulk’s superhuman strength for their own nefarious purposes. Meanwhile, David Banner (also played by Bill Bixby) is still searching for a cure for his condition.
The story takes a turn when a new villain, the Leader (John Rhys-Davies), appears. He has a plan to use a gamma bomb to increase his own power, and he needs the Hulk’s energy to do it. The Leader kidnaps David Banner and forces him to help him with his plan.
The Leader’s plan is foiled, but the Hulk is severely injured in the process. Bruce Banner is forced to make a difficult decision: save the Hulk or save his father. In the end, he chooses to save his father and the Hulk dies.
