Synopsis/Plot
The Day is a post-apocalyptic thriller set in a world where humanity has been decimated by an unknown virus. The film follows a group of survivors who have been living in a bunker for the last five years, struggling to survive in a hostile and dangerous world. The group is led by John (Shawn Ashmore), a former soldier who has become their de facto leader.
John and his group must now venture out into the world in search of supplies and other survivors. But as they travel, they soon discover that the virus has mutated and created a new breed of monsters. These monsters are relentless and vicious, and they will stop at nothing to wipe out the last remaining humans.
The group must now fight for their survival as they battle their way through the ruins of civilization, trying to find a safe haven and a way to stop the monsters. Along the way, they come across other survivors, some of whom may be more dangerous than the monsters they are trying to escape.
