Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream”
The Cutting Edge: Chasing the Dream is a romantic comedy/drama about a young figure skater, Alex Harrison, and her dream of competing in the Olympics.
Alex is a talented, passionate figure skater who has been training for the Olympics since she was a young girl. However, her dreams are put on hold when her partner, Sean, suffers a career-ending injury. With the Olympics fast approaching, Alex is desperate to find a new partner.
Enter James MacPherson, a former hockey player who is now trying to make it as a figure skater. Despite their initial animosity, Alex and James eventually decide to give it a try. With the help of their coach, Toni, they start to train together.
The two must learn to trust and rely on each other in order to make it to the Olympics. Along the way, they discover that they have more in common than they thought. As their partnership grows, so does their relationship.
