Synopsis/Plot
The Concorde… Airport ’79 is a 1979 American action-adventure film directed by David Lowell Rich and starring Alain Delon, Susan Blakely, Robert Wagner, and George Kennedy. The film follows the story of a group of passengers and crew aboard a Concorde flight from Washington, D.C. to Paris. During the flight, the plane is hijacked by a group of terrorists led by a former Nazi scientist, who plans to use the plane to launch a chemical weapon at a NATO meeting in Paris. The passengers and crew must find a way to stop the terrorists and save the day.
The film begins with the Concorde taking off from Dulles International Airport in Washington, D.C. and heading towards Paris. As the plane is flying, it is hijacked by a group of terrorists led by a former Nazi scientist. The terrorists plan to launch a chemical weapon at a NATO meeting in Paris.
