Synopsis/Plot
The Collection is a 2012 horror film directed by Marcus Dunstan. The film follows the story of Arkin, a young man who is forced to break into an underground, high-security facility in order to rescue a woman he believes to be held captive there. Arkin must traverse through a series of deadly booby-traps and face off against a masked murderer known as The Collector, who has been kidnapping people and placing them in a massive death-trap maze.
The film opens with Arkin breaking into the facility, where he finds a room full of people who have been kidnapped by The Collector. He soon discovers that the woman he was sent to rescue is the daughter of a wealthy businessman and that he must find her before The Collector kills her. Arkin is aided by a group of strangers, including a security guard and a scientist, who help him navigate the dangerous maze. As Arkin makes his way through the facility, he must face off against The Collector and his henchmen in order to save the woman and escape alive.
