Synopsis/Plot
The Christmas Chronicles is a 2018 American Christmas comedy film directed by Clay Kaytis and written by Matt Lieberman. The film stars Kurt Russell as Santa Claus and Goldie Hawn as Mrs. Claus. It also features Judah Lewis, Darby Camp, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.
The film follows the story of two siblings, Kate and Teddy Pierce, who accidentally crash Santa’s sleigh and must help him save Christmas. On Christmas Eve, the siblings sneak out of their house in an attempt to spot Santa Claus, but they are caught by Santa himself, who is in the middle of delivering presents. In the chaos, the reindeer are scattered and Santa’s sleigh is damaged, so the children must help him repair the sleigh and get the presents delivered on time. Along the way, they encounter elves, reindeer, and a mischievous talking snowman named Belsnickel.
