The film follows Romulus Ledbetter (Jackson), a homeless man living in a cave in New York City. Romulus is a former classical musician and composer, whose life has been in shambles since his wife left him. He has been living in the cave for the past five years, and believes he is being spied on by a supernatural force.
Romulus’s life is changed when he discovers the frozen body of a young man in a nearby park. He believes the man was murdered, and sets out to find the killer. In the process, he reconnects with his estranged daughter, and meets a beautiful but troubled young woman.
Romulus’s investigation leads him to a wealthy and powerful businessman, who may be connected to the murder. With the help of his daughter and the woman he meets, Romulus uncovers a shocking web of corruption and murder.
The Caveman’s Valentine is a story of redemption, as Romulus reconnects with his family and uses his intelligence and determination to seek justice. Along the way, he finds strength in his love for music and in the people who care about him.
