Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Burrowers”
The Burrowers is a 2008 horror-thriller film directed by J.T. Petty. Set in the American West in 1879, the film follows a group of settlers who set out to find a family of settlers that has gone missing.
The group is led by a former cavalry officer, Fergus Coffey (William Mapother), and includes a tracker, John Clay (Clancy Brown), a young woman, Mose (Karl Geary), and a young Native American, Neech (Doug Hutchinson). As they search for the missing family, they come across strange tracks and strange noises, and soon discover that the family was taken by a mysterious creature known as the Burrowers.
The group soon finds itself in a fight for survival as they battle the Burrowers and their terrifying underground kingdom. Along the way, they must confront their own inner demons and fears as they battle the unknown.
