Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Black String”
The Black String follows the story of Jonathan (Frankie Muniz), a young man who is struggling to keep his life together after his recent break-up with his girlfriend. He is also struggling to cope with the death of his mother. Jonathan works at a convenience store and one night he meets a mysterious woman who gives him a strange black string.
Jonathan soon begins to experience strange physical and psychological changes. He develops a rash on his arm, starts having nightmares, and begins to see strange creatures. He also begins to feel an overwhelming sense of dread and paranoia.
Jonathan visits a doctor, who believes that his symptoms are psychosomatic, but Jonathan is convinced that something more sinister is going on. He eventually discovers that the black string is connected to an underground cult that is involved in ritualistic activities.
Jonathan soon finds himself in a fight for his life as he is pursued by the cult members. He must use his wits and courage to escape and save himself from the cult’s sinister plans.
