Synopsis/Plot
The Barbarians is a 1987 Italian fantasy-adventure film directed by Ruggero Deodato and starring Peter and David Paul. The story follows two twin brothers, Kain (Peter Paul) and Kurt (David Paul), who are taken in by a tribe of nomadic warriors. After being separated at birth, the two brothers have grown up to be fierce warriors and are determined to reunite and reclaim their birthright.
The brothers soon find themselves in the middle of a battle between the forces of the evil queen Gedren (Rebecca Ferratti) and the forces of the good queen Mariana (Eva LaRue). Gedren is determined to take over the kingdom of Ehdan and enslave its people, while Mariana is determined to protect her people from Gedren’s tyranny. With the help of a magical sword, the Barbarians, Kain and Kurt, must fight their way through a series of battles and challenges to save the kingdom and reunite with their long lost family.
