Synopsis – What to Expect from “The Bachelor”
The Bachelor is a romantic comedy starring Chris O’Donnell and Renée Zellweger. The movie follows the story of Jimmy Shannon (O’Donnell), a young man who is living the bachelor life. He’s a successful, attractive, and eligible bachelor who has the world at his feet.
Jimmy’s life is thrown into chaos when his best friend and business partner, Frank (Edward Burns), announces that he’s getting married and wants Jimmy to be his best man. Jimmy is hesitant to take on the responsibility, but eventually agrees.
At the wedding, Jimmy meets the bride’s sister, Anne Arden (Zellweger). Anne is an uptight, career-focused woman who is determined to find the perfect husband. Jimmy and Anne are immediately attracted to each other, but Anne is determined to find a husband who is serious about marriage.
Jimmy and Anne begin a relationship, but Anne is unable to let go of her need for a perfect husband. She pushes Jimmy away and he decides to move on with his life. Meanwhile, Anne is determined to find the perfect husband and begins dating a series of men.
Jimmy eventually realizes that he can’t live without Anne and decides to win her back. He begins to make major changes in his life, including getting a job and buying a house. He also starts to take his relationship with Anne more seriously.
Anne is initially hesitant, but eventually realizes that Jimmy is the perfect
