Synopsis/Plot
The Adventurer: The Curse of the Midas Box is a fantasy adventure film directed by Jonathan Newman and starring Michael Sheen, Lena Headey, Sam Neill, Ioan Gruffudd, and Aneurin Barnard.
The film follows the story of fourteen-year-old Mariah Mundi (Barnard) who is sent to a mysterious island to rescue his missing brother. On the island, he discovers a secret world of mythical creatures and an ancient curse that has been unleashed. Mariah must unravel the mysteries of the island and its inhabitants in order to save his brother and prevent the curse from destroying the world.
Mariah soon discovers that the island is home to a powerful artifact known as the Midas Box, a box that can grant any wish. However, the box is cursed and anyone who touches it will be turned to gold. Mariah must find a way to break the curse and save his brother before it’s too late.
