Synopsis/Plot
The Abyss is a 1989 science fiction film directed by James Cameron and starring Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio and Michael Biehn. The film follows a deep-sea oil drilling team who are sent to investigate a mysterious underwater phenomenon. When the team discovers an alien spacecraft at the bottom of the ocean, they must work together to prevent a global disaster.
