Synopsis/Plot
The 9th Life of Louis Drax is a 2016 psychological thriller directed by Alexandre Aja. The film follows the story of a young boy, Louis Drax, who has a mysterious connection to death. After surviving eight near-death experiences, Louis is now in a coma following a fall off a cliff. His desperate father, Peter, turns to a brilliant doctor, Dr. Allan Pascal, to try and uncover the truth behind Louis’s extraordinary life. As Pascal digs deeper into Louis’s past, he discovers a sinister force that has been manipulating the boy’s life from the shadows. With the help of Louis’s mother, Natalie, Pascal must unravel the truth before Louis’s ninth life is taken away for good.
