Synopsis – What to Expect from “Text to Kill”
Text to Kill is a 2015 thriller film directed by William M. Anderson and starring John Cusack, Ryan Phillippe, and Emily Mortimer.
The film follows a group of high school students who become the target of a serial killer, after they receive a mysterious text message from a stranger. The text message reads, “I’m coming to kill you.” The group soon discovers that the killer is using text messages to lure his victims.
The group must find a way to stop the killer before he can kill them all. They enlist the help of a hacker, who is able to trace the killer’s phone number. However, the killer is one step ahead of them and is able to stay one step ahead of the group.
The group soon realizes that the only way to stop the killer is to find him. They enlist the help of a police detective, who is able to track down the killer’s location.
The group then must find a way to lure the killer to them. They come up with a plan to use a decoy, but the plan goes awry and the killer is able to track them down.
The group must now fight for their lives against the killer in a desperate attempt to survive. With the help of the detective, they are able to track the killer to his hideout and confront him. In a final showdown, the group is able to defeat the killer and save their lives.
