Synopsis – What to Expect from “TerrorVision”
TerrorVision is a 1986 horror/comedy film directed by Ted Nicolaou and produced by Charles Band. The movie follows the Putterman family, who move into a new home in the suburbs. The family consists of father Stanley, mother Raquel, daughter Sherry, and son Chester.
The Puttermans soon discover that their new home is being invaded by an alien creature from outer space. This creature, known as “The Monster”, is able to enter their home through their television and terrorize them. The family must find a way to survive and defeat the creature.
The Puttermans enlist the help of a local scientist, Dr. Geissman, who has invented a device called the “TerrorVision” to help them battle the monster. The TerrorVision is a device that can detect the presence of the creature and allow the Puttermans to track it.
Meanwhile, the monster is wreaking havoc in the town, killing off citizens and destroying property. The Puttermans must find a way to stop the monster before it causes more destruction.
The Puttermans eventually discover that the monster is being controlled by an alien race known as the “Grimaldi”. The Grimaldi have come to Earth in search of a powerful energy source, and they are using the monster to find it. The Puttermans must find a way to defeat the Grimaldi and save the town.
