Synopsis – What to Expect from “Terror Train”
Terror Train is a 1980 Canadian-American slasher horror film directed by Roger Spottiswoode and starring Jamie Lee Curtis, Ben Johnson, and Hart Bochner. The film follows a group of college students who are invited to a costume party aboard a moving train, only to find themselves being stalked and killed by an unknown assailant.
The film begins with a group of college students, led by Alana (Jamie Lee Curtis), boarding a train for a costume party. Alana and her friends, including Kenny (Hart Bochner) and Doc (Derek McKinnon), are excited for the night of fun, unaware of the terror that awaits them.
As the train begins to move, the lights go out and a mysterious figure begins to stalk and kill the passengers. Alana and her friends soon realize that the killer is a former student, Ed (David Copperfield), who was expelled from the school for a prank gone wrong. Ed is seeking revenge against the group for his expulsion, and will stop at nothing to get it.
Alana and her friends must now find a way to survive the night and save themselves from Ed’s murderous rampage. Together, they must use their wits and courage to outsmart the killer and make it off the train alive. As the night progresses, the group must face their fears and confront the killer in a thrilling climax.
