Synopsis – What to Expect from “Team Thor”
Team Thor is a mockumentary-style comedy that follows the adventures of Thor and his roommate, Darryl, during the time between the events of Thor: The Dark World and Thor: Ragnarok.
The film opens with Thor (Chris Hemsworth) living in Australia with Darryl (Daley Pearson), an average Joe who works in an office and is struggling to make ends meet. Thor is living the life of a regular person, doing mundane tasks like grocery shopping, working out, and going to the movies. The two become fast friends, and Thor soon reveals that he is actually an Asgardian god.
The film follows Thor and Darryl as they embark on a series of adventures, including a trip to the Grand Canyon, a visit to a comic book store, and a battle with a giant robot. Along the way, Thor teaches Darryl about Asgardian culture and the importance of friendship and loyalty.
The two also run into trouble when they encounter a group of Asgardian refugees who are being pursued by the Dark Elves. Thor and Darryl team up to save the refugees and defeat the Dark Elves, but not before Thor discovers a shocking truth about his father, Odin.
The film culminates with Thor and Darryl’s triumphant return to Asgard, where Thor is reunited with his family and friends. The film ends with Thor and Darryl embracing, having become true brothers in arms.
