Synopsis – What to Expect from “Tarzan and the Amazons”
Tarzan and the Amazons is a 1945 American adventure film directed by Kurt Neumann and starring Johnny Weissmuller in his ninth portrayal of the title character.
The movie begins with a group of explorers searching for a lost city in the jungle. They enlist the help of Tarzan, who agrees to guide them and protect them from the dangers of the jungle. Tarzan leads the group to the lost city, which turns out to be inhabited by a tribe of Amazons.
The Amazons are initially hostile towards the explorers and Tarzan, but eventually come to accept them. Tarzan and the group are welcomed as guests and learn more about the Amazons and their culture. Tarzan and the Amazons become friends, and Tarzan falls in love with one of the Amazons, named Naiara.
However, the group’s presence in the city soon attracts the attention of a rival tribe of warriors, who attack the city and kidnap the Amazons. Tarzan and the explorers must join forces with the Amazons to fight off the warriors and save the city.
Through a series of daring and heroic feats, Tarzan and the group manage to defeat the warriors and rescue the Amazons. In the end, Tarzan and Naiara are reunited and they all return to the lost city, where the Amazons are welcomed back with open arms. Tarzan and Naiara are married
