Synopsis – What to Expect from “Sunshine Cleaning”
Sunshine Cleaning is a 2008 comedy-drama film directed by Christine Jeffs and starring Amy Adams and Emily Blunt. The story follows Rose Lorkowski, a single mother who is struggling to make ends meet. In order to make some extra money, she and her sister Norah start a crime scene clean-up business called Sunshine Cleaning.
The sisters soon discover that cleaning up after a tragedy is much more difficult than it seems. They have to deal with the emotional toll of cleaning up after people who have died, as well as the physical and mental challenges of the job.
The sisters also have to deal with their own personal issues. Rose is trying to reconnect with her son Oscar, who is dealing with his own problems. Norah is trying to find her place in the world and trying to avoid her own troubled past.
The sisters eventually find a way to make their business successful, but not without a few bumps in the road. Along the way, they learn valuable lessons about life, family, and friendship.
The film is a heartwarming story about the power of family and the importance of finding your own way in life. It is a touching and humorous look at the struggles of everyday life and the strength of the human spirit.
