Synopsis – What to Expect from “Sundown”
Sundown is a 2016 comedy-drama film directed by Fernando Lebrija and starring an ensemble cast including Devon Werkheiser, Sean Marquette, Camilla Belle, and Adrienne Bailon.
The story follows two high school seniors, Logan (Devon Werkheiser) and Blake (Sean Marquette), who are on the verge of graduating and are looking forward to a summer of fun and adventure. But when Logan’s parents forbid him from going on a planned trip to Mexico, he and Blake hatch a plan to sneak away to the resort town of Puerto Vallarta for a wild Spring Break.
Accompanied by their friends, the group embarks on a wild and crazy adventure. But what starts out as a fun and carefree getaway quickly turns into a dangerous journey as the group runs afoul of the local drug cartel. With the cartel’s thugs hot on their trail and the police closing in, the group must use every ounce of their wit and courage to make it out alive.
