Synopsis – What to Expect from “Suck”
Suck is a 2009 Canadian rock ‘n’ roll horror-comedy film directed by Rob Stefaniuk and starring Stefaniuk, Jessica Paré, and Malcolm McDowell.
The film follows a down-on-their-luck rock band called “The Winners” who are struggling to make it big in the music industry. After a disastrous gig at a vampire-themed club, the band is approached by a mysterious man named Eddie Van Helsing (McDowell) who promises them fame and fortune if they will help him battle an ancient vampire queen (Paré).
The band agrees to help, and soon finds themselves in a battle against the vampire queen and her minions. With the help of Van Helsing, the band must use their music and their wits to save the world from the vampire queen’s evil plans.
The film follows the band as they travel across the country, encountering vampires, monsters, and other strange creatures. Along the way, they must come to terms with their own personal issues and learn to work together in order to survive.
With a mix of horror, comedy, and rock ‘n’ roll, Suck is an offbeat and entertaining look at the struggles of making it in the music industry.
