Synopsis/Plot

Striptease is a 1996 American comedy-drama film starring Demi Moore, Burt Reynolds, and Ving Rhames. The movie follows the story of Erin Grant (Moore), a stripper who is trying to make ends meet while raising her daughter. After being wrongfully accused of embezzlement, she is determined to prove her innocence and reclaim her daughter.

In order to do so, she takes a job as a stripper at the Eager Beaver, a strip club owned by Congressman David Dilbeck (Reynolds). While Erin is initially hesitant to take the job, she eventually realizes that it is her only option to make enough money to pay for her legal fees.

At the Eager Beaver, Erin quickly becomes the star of the show and is able to make a lot of money. However, she soon discovers that the club is involved in illegal activities and that Congressman Dilbeck is the mastermind behind it all. With the help of her private investigator friend, Darrell Grant (Rhames), Erin sets out to prove her innocence and take down Dilbeck.
