Leia’s family is still dealing with the trauma of her disappearance and the pain of her absence. Her father, David (Jason Isaacs), is distant and her mother, Martha (Cynthia Nixon), is emotionally fragile. Her brother, Nathan (Jesse Eisenberg), has grown up in the shadow of her absence and is struggling to cope with the emotional scars of her kidnapping.
Leia’s return brings a new level of tension to the family as they all try to adjust to the new normal. As Leia struggles to find her place in the world, she must also come to terms with the fact that her kidnapper, a mysterious figure known only as “The Doctor” (David Warshofsky), is still out there.
The family must navigate a new landscape of emotions as they try to find a way to heal and move forward. But as Leia’s past catches up with her, the family is forced to confront the secrets of her abduction and the truth of what happened during those 17 years.
