Synopsis – What to Expect from “Squirm”
Squirm is a horror movie released in 1976 about a small town in Georgia that is terrorized by a horde of flesh-eating worms. When a powerful storm hits the town, it causes a power outage that leads to an infestation of worms that have been living beneath the ground.
The main protagonist of the movie is Mick, a young man who is visiting the town to visit his girlfriend, Geri. When the power outage occurs, Mick and Geri find themselves stranded in a small cabin in the woods. As they investigate the power outage, they discover that the worms have been living beneath the ground and are now coming to the surface to feed on anything they can find.
Mick and Geri soon find themselves in a fight for their lives as the worms begin to attack the townspeople. They enlist the help of their friend, Roger, and the local sheriff to help them battle the worms and save the town.
The movie culminates in a thrilling battle between the worms and the townspeople as they attempt to rid the town of the infestation. In the end, Mick and Geri are able to save the town and the worms are destroyed.
