Synopsis – What to Expect from “Spokes & Robbers”
Set in the near future, Spokes & Robbers follows the story of a small-time bike shop owner, Rob, who is struggling to make ends meet. He and his best friend, Spokes, have been running the shop together for years, but with the rising cost of living and the ever-increasing competition from online stores, they are barely able to keep their heads above water.
One day, Rob and Spokes are approached by a mysterious figure known only as the ‘Mister’. He offers them a job: to deliver a package to a specific address in the city. When they arrive, they discover that the package contains a large sum of money. They soon realize that this is not a normal delivery job, but rather a heist.
With the help of their friend, the tech-savvy hacker, they devise a plan to pull off the heist. However, their plan is complicated by the fact that they are being pursued by a ruthless gang of criminals who also want to get their hands on the money.
Rob and Spokes must use all of their wits and ingenuity to stay one step ahead of the criminals and pull off the heist. Along the way, they must also confront their own inner demons as they grapple with the moral implications of their actions.
