Synopsis – What to Expect from “Split Second”
Split Second is a science fiction action-thriller film released in 1992. It stars Rutger Hauer as Detective Harley Stone, Kim Cattrall as Michelle, Alastair Duncan as Richard, and Neil Duncan as the villain, The Stranger.
The movie is set in a future, post-apocalyptic London. The city has been overrun by a mysterious virus that has caused the citizens to become violent and unpredictable. Detective Harley Stone is sent to investigate the death of a young woman who was murdered in a bizarre ritual.
Stone soon discovers that the killer is a supernatural being known as The Stranger. The Stranger is trying to use an ancient ritual to bring a powerful demon from another dimension into the world. To do this, he needs to collect a set of seven ancient artifacts.
Stone and his team must race against time to find the artifacts and stop The Stranger from completing his plan. They enlist the help of Michelle, a woman with psychic abilities, to help them find the artifacts. With her help, they are able to locate the artifacts and confront The Stranger.
In a thrilling climax, Stone and his team must battle The Stranger and his minions in an epic showdown. In the end, Stone and his team are able to defeat The Stranger and save the world from his evil plan.
