Spacehunter: Adventures in the Forbidden Zone is a 1983 science fiction adventure movie directed by Lamont Johnson. The movie stars Peter Strauss, Molly Ringwald, and Ernie Hudson.
The story follows the journey of Wolff (Peter Strauss), a bounty hunter who travels to a distant planet in search of three missing people. He is hired by the beautiful but mysterious Katherine (Molly Ringwald) to find her missing father and two other people who were kidnapped by the evil Overdog (Ernie Hudson).
Wolff soon discovers that the planet is a dangerous place, full of treacherous terrain and strange creatures. He is also confronted by the villainous Overdog, who has taken over the planet and is determined to keep the three missing people captive.
With the help of his robot companion, P.J. (Michael Ironside), Wolff must battle his way through the Forbidden Zone in order to save the missing people and bring them home. Along the way, he must face off against the Overdog’s minions, as well as the planet’s many dangers, in order to complete his mission.
The movie culminates in an epic battle between Wolff and the Overdog, with the fate of the planet and its inhabitants hanging in the balance. In the end, Wolff is successful in his mission and the three missing people are rescued, restoring peace to the planet.
