Synopsis – What to Expect from “Sorcerer”
Sorcerer is a 1977 American thriller directed by William Friedkin and starring Roy Scheider, Bruno Cremer, Francisco Rabal, and Amidou.
The movie follows four desperate criminals, each from different parts of the world, who are hired to transport volatile nitroglycerin in two trucks over a treacherous mountain road in South America. The men are given a chance to redeem themselves by accepting this dangerous mission, but it soon becomes apparent that the task is far more difficult and dangerous than they had anticipated.
The men must battle their own personal demons as they traverse the treacherous terrain and face the elements. As they journey through the dangerous and unknown, they must rely on each other to survive. Along the way, they encounter a number of obstacles, including bandits, a raging river, and a raging forest fire.
The men must use their wits and courage to complete the mission and find redemption. In the end, they must face their greatest fear and confront the sorcerer who has been manipulating their every move. Will they succeed and find redemption or will they succumb to the sorcerer’s power?
