Synopsis/Plot
Sonic Boom is a 2020 computer-animated action-adventure comedy film directed by Jeff Fowler. The film is based on the Sonic the Hedgehog video game franchise created by Sega. The film stars Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic, a blue anthropomorphic hedgehog who is gifted with the ability to run faster than the speed of sound. Sonic is on the run from the evil Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) who is determined to capture him and harness his power. Sonic teams up with his new best friend, a small-town sheriff named Tom Wachowski (James Marsden), to save the world from Robotnik’s evil plans.
The film follows Sonic as he embarks on a journey to find his lost rings and discover his true identity. Along the way, Sonic and Tom face off against Robotnik and his robotic army, as well as a host of new enemies. With the help of his new friends, Sonic must use his super speed and wits to save the world from Robotnik’s diabolical plans.
