Synopsis – What to Expect from “Someone’s Watching Me!”
Someone’s Watching Me! is a psychological thriller released in 1978. It centers around Leigh Michaels (Lauren Hutton), a young woman who moves from New York to Los Angeles to take a job in television.
Leigh is excited to start her new life in Los Angeles, but soon begins to feel like someone is watching her. She notices strange occurrences such as hang-up phone calls and mysterious packages arriving at her door. Leigh is determined to find out who is watching her and why.
Leigh eventually discovers that her stalker is a disturbed man named Richard (David Birney). Richard is obsessed with Leigh and has been stalking her since she moved to Los Angeles. He has been watching her every move and sending her mysterious packages.
Leigh is terrified of Richard and must find a way to escape his clutches. She teams up with her neighbor, a former police officer named Jeff (Adrian Zmed), to try and stop Richard.
The two of them hatch a plan to lure Richard into a trap and put an end to his stalking. In the end, Leigh is able to outsmart Richard and put an end to his reign of terror.
