Synopsis – What to Expect from “Someone Great”
Someone Great is a 2019 romantic comedy starring Gina Rodriguez, Lakeith Stanfield, and Brittany Snow.
The movie follows Jenny, a music journalist in New York City who has just been dumped by her long-term boyfriend Nate. She’s devastated, but determined to make the most of her last day in the city before she moves to San Francisco for a new job. She decides to call up her two best friends, Erin and Blair, and have one last wild night in the city.
The three friends embark on a wild and wacky night of partying and adventure, from a drag show to an impromptu karaoke session. Along the way, they learn more about each other and how their lives have changed since they first met. They also learn a few lessons about love, life, and friendship.
By the end of the night, the girls are exhausted but happy. They all part ways, but Jenny knows that even though she’s moving away, she still has her two best friends, and that they’ll always have each other no matter what.
