Sofia the First: The Curse of Princess Ivy is a 2014 television movie that follows the adventures of Sofia, a young princess who discovers the magical world of her kingdom.
The movie begins with Sofia and her parents, King Roland and Queen Miranda, attending the coronation of Princess Ivy, the daughter of their old friend, King Roland’s old friend, King Gideon. After the coronation, Sofia discovers that Princess Ivy has placed a curse on the kingdom, causing all of the citizens to become mean and selfish. Sofia must find a way to break the curse and restore the kingdom to its former glory.
Sofia sets out on a journey to find a way to break the curse. Along the way, she meets a number of magical creatures, including a wise-cracking dragon, a helpful fairy, and a mischievous fairy godmother. With the help of her new friends, Sofia discovers the source of the curse and learns how to break it.
In the end, Sofia and her friends are able to break the curse and restore the kingdom to its former glory. Princess Ivy learns an important lesson about the power of friendship and the importance of being kind to others. The movie ends with Sofia and her parents happily reunited.
