Synopsis – What to Expect from “Snatchers”
Snatchers is a horror-comedy film set in the small town of San Narciso, California. The film follows Sara, a high school senior who is about to graduate and start college in the fall. She is dating Skyler, a senior at a rival high school. One night while making out in Skyler’s car, Sara discovers she is pregnant.
Desperate to keep her parents from finding out, Sara and Skyler decide to take care of the problem themselves. They enlist the help of Hayley, a local drug dealer, to get them an abortion pill. But when Hayley gives them a pill that’s not what it seems, Sara’s life takes a turn for the worse.
Sara soon discovers that the pill has caused her to give birth to an alien creature that quickly grows into an adult. As she and Skyler try to figure out what to do with the alien, they discover that it has the ability to clone itself. As the clones begin to multiply, they start to take over the town and infect the people with a strange virus.
Now Sara, Skyler, and Hayley must find a way to stop the alien clones before they take over the entire town. With the help of a mysterious stranger, they must find a way to save San Narciso and themselves before it’s too late.
