Synopsis – What to Expect from “Sleepwalker”
Sleepwalker is a 2017 psychological horror film directed by Jonathan Hopkins, and starring Charlize Theron, Mark Wahlberg, and Chloë Grace Moretz.
The story follows a young couple, Sarah and John, who have just moved into a new home in a small town. After a long day of unpacking, Sarah and John are ready to go to bed. However, Sarah has been having nightmares and is unable to sleep. John suggests that they take a walk around the neighborhood to help her relax.
As they walk, they begin to notice strange things happening in the neighborhood. Lights flicker on and off, dogs bark in the middle of the night, and Sarah hears a mysterious voice calling her name.
Things become even stranger when they arrive at a house with a large tree in the front yard. Sarah is drawn to the tree, and when she touches it, she is suddenly transported to a strange dream world. She finds herself in a dark forest, with a mysterious figure lurking in the shadows.
The figure turns out to be a sleepwalker, a creature that can move between the dream world and the real world. The sleepwalker explains that Sarah is in danger, and that she must find a way to wake up before the creature catches her.
