Synopsis/Plot
Sirens is a 1994 romantic comedy-drama film written and directed by John Duigan. The film stars Hugh Grant, Tara Fitzgerald, Sam Neill, and Elle Macpherson.
The film follows the story of Anthony Campion (Hugh Grant), a British artist and art critic, who is sent to Australia by his wife, Estella (Tara Fitzgerald), to evaluate the work of a reclusive artist, Norman Lindsay (Sam Neill). While in Australia, Campion meets the three beautiful and mysterious sirens: Giddy (Elle Macpherson), Thalia (Portia De Rossi), and Lily (Kate Fischer). These women captivate Campion and lead him on a journey of self-discovery and adventure.
The film follows Campion as he is drawn into the lives of these women, and as he discovers more about himself and his desires. Along the way, he must confront his own prejudices and fears, and learn to accept himself and the women for who they are.
